Al Fadhili Gas Plant 380Kv Substation

The subject project aims at the implementation of 380kV transmission facilities required for the effective evacuation of power from the new generating station to be installed at Fadhili Gas Plant Generation Project. The new Substation will be equipped with Substation Automation System (SAS) and will be remotely controlled from the Power Control Center (PCC) through SCADA system, communication System and gateway. The “New 380kV Fadhili Gas Plant Substation” is included in the RFP for the “Fadhili CHP Plant”. All generators specified in the RFP  for the “Fadhili CHP Plant” shall be connected to the “New 380kV Fadhili Gas Plant Substation”. The “New 380kV Fadhili Gas Plant Substation” shall provide the power directly to the 115kV Substation included in the RFP for the “Fadhili Gas Plant” (FGP).

Project Goal and Scope:

• Revision of the Front End Engineering package FEED which include fire hazard analysis, building code analysis, design basis, Identification of Fire Protection, Fire Detection, Alarm and design parameters, generic material, equipment specifications and all documents & drawings as required by HCIS directives (SAF-01).
• Review & Evaluate the installation package documents produced by fire protection contractor. Identify the format and contents of Safety and Fire Protection Packages which are to be submitted to the High Commission for Industrial Security (HCIS) as required in SAF-01.
